Adjustable air resistance

The DX uses an adjustable air resistance system that is designed to minimize noise while providing a wide range of resistance settings.

The resistance settings are controlled by the moving the intake lever on the flywheel housing. 

The resistance can also be set to a numerical value using the Drag Factor function on the OTM monitor.


Dual base rail

The DX uses a dual rail frame to guide and stabilize the moving flywheel unit. The rails are custom profile aluminium extrusions and black anodized for extended wear and durability.

This symmetrical profile locates and guides the top and bottom roller wheels of the flywheel unit to provide a solid connection with the rails and eliminate any sideways play or wobble.

This allows the rower to apply power evenly through each footplate and the flywheel unit to move seamlessly up and down the rails.

Self centering seat

The DX has a curved seat track that helps keep the seat movement centred within the limits of travel. The seat moves freely and unrestricted throughout the stroke while minimal movement is also a good indicator of technical consistency.

This design feature also allows the seat track and the overall footprint of the DX to be much shorter than other dynamic alternatives in the marketplace.

Heavy duty roller wheels

The DX uses a total of 8 roller wheels for the enhanced smoothness and stability of the moving flywheel unit. These wheels are custom machined from hard wearing acetal and are mounted with dual bearings in each wheel.

The bottom set of roller wheels are adjustable to ensure constant contact with the rail beam and extend the overall lifecycle of the wheels considerably.

The DX is easily moved and stored upright to minimise space when not in use.

There is a simple latch mechanism that secures the moving unit safely before moving the machine.

Adjustable front leg

The DX has an adjustable front leg to compensate for uneven floor surfaces such as in internal garages with built in falls in the concrete floors or older buildings with fluctuating floorboards.

For even surfaces or if using the DX in a regular allocated space, the front leg height will only ever need to be set once for first time use.
